The main barrier to launching a new plastic product is often the initial tooling cost (CAPEX). For a startup or an innovative SME, spending €15,000 or €30,000 for a mold before selling the first part is a major risk.
At Moulding Injection, we believe in the projects we support. That’s why we created a unique offer on the market: Co-Investment.
The principle is simple
If your project has solid technical and commercial potential (and ideally a positive societal or environmental impact), we are no longer just a supplier; we become a partner.
- We pay 50% of the tooling: We cover half of the mold invoice ourselves.
- Amortization on parts: We recover our investment gradually via a slight surcharge on the unit price of produced parts (over 1, 2, or 3 years).
- Win-Win: You keep your cash flow for marketing and sales. We secure a production volume in our Belgian workshops.
Is your project eligible?
We cannot finance every project. This "Shared Risk" model is aimed at mature products with visibility on volumes.
- Innovation / Impact: We prioritize Tech, Medical, Agricultural, or Green-Tech projects (sustainable products, recycled materials).
- Recurring Volume: The project must aim for series production (minimum 5,000 to 10,000 parts/year) to allow amortization.
- Technical Feasibility: Validated by our design office (LGR).
Don’t let the mold price kill your innovation. Let’s turn your CAPEX into OPEX.
