PU Molding Production

Manufacturer of Polyurethane (PU) decorative parts. Wood, plaster, and stone imitation. RIM or casting process for cornices, beams, and architectural elements. Ready-to-paint finish.

The Art of Imitation: High-Density Polyurethane

In interior design and architecture, the weight and cost of natural materials (solid wood, hewn stone, traditional plaster) are often major obstacles. Polyurethane (PU) offers the perfect solution: a complete visual illusion combined with unparalleled ease of installation.

We produce structural or decorative elements using the injection or casting of rigid PU foams, capable of reproducing the finest texture details.

1. Perfect Imitation of Fine Materials

Thanks to our silicone or resin molds taken from real-life models, PU captures every wood grain and every stone pore with precision.

  • Wood Effect (Faux Wood): Exposed beams, brackets, door panels, or furniture legs. Once painted or patinated, PU is indistinguishable from oak or walnut, but it does not split or warp over time.
  • Plaster and Stucco Effect: Cornices, ceiling roses, columns, and pilasters. PU allows for deep, crisp reliefs that are impossible to achieve with basic expanded polystyrene (EPS).

2. Technical Advantages of PU for the Construction Industry

The choice of polyurethane is not just aesthetic; it is a pragmatic solution for work sites:

  • Extremely Lightweight: A 10-foot (3-meter) PU beam can be carried by a single person and simply glued into place, without the need for heavy structural reinforcements.
  • Moisture Resistance: Unlike wood or plaster, PU is rot-proof. It is ideal for humid rooms (bathrooms, spas) or exterior facade elements (UV and frost resistant).
  • Impact Resistance: We use high-density foams (High Density PU) that offer surface hardness comparable to hardwood, resisting dents from vacuum cleaners or chairs (baseboards, chair rails).

3. Our Manufacturing Process (RIM & Casting)

Depending on your volumes and part complexity, we adapt the technique:

  • RIM Molding (Reaction Injection Molding): For industrial series. Low-pressure injection of the Polyol/Isocyanate mixture into closed molds (aluminum or epoxy). Fast cycles and a perfect surface skin.
  • "Ready-to-Paint" Finish: All our parts come with a white or beige primer coat, ready to receive your customers' final paint (acrylic or oil-based).

4. Typical Applications

  • Interior Architecture: Lighting cornices (for LEDs), baseboards, door frames.
  • Shopfitting: Themed decor elements, giant 3D lettering, totems.
  • Furniture: Armrests, sofa legs, ornamental headboards.
