We produce injection moulded pill boxes, dosette organisers, and pharmaceutical containers in PP and HDPE. From simple single-compartment containers to complex 7-day organisers with individual lids, our moulds deliver the precision fit and smooth operation essential for daily medication management.
Material Selection
PP is standard for its living hinge capability (integral lid), chemical resistance to medications, and suitability for transparent or translucent versions. HDPE is preferred for opaque containers protecting light-sensitive medications. Both materials meet EU 10/2011 and USP Class VI requirements.
Hinge Design
The living hinge is the critical feature of any pill box. Our moulds produce hinges with precisely controlled thickness (0.25-0.35mm) and molecular orientation that withstand 10,000+ opening cycles without failure. Hinge geometry is validated through FEA simulation and accelerated life testing.
Production
Multi-cavity moulds (4-16 cavities depending on part size) on electric presses ensure consistent wall thickness and hinge quality. Automatic assembly of multi-compartment organisers using ultrasonic welding eliminates adhesives from the finished product.

ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485 certified. Every batch undergoes hinge cycling testing, closure force measurement, and dimensional inspection. Cleanroom packaging available for pharmaceutical distribution.

Can pill boxes include Braille marking?
Yes, we mould Braille directly into the cavity surface at no additional tooling cost. Day names and compartment labels in multiple languages (FR, EN, NL, DE) available as mould inserts.
What decoration options exist for branded pill boxes?
